Learn everything you wanted to know about accounting but were afraid to ask the lead-off session of the Hudson Library and Historical Society’s 2015 Winter/Spring MBA Lite series. Dr. Gerald Weinstein, KPMG Professor of Accountancy at John Carroll University, will review the major elements of a financial statement and answer your accounting questions. This workshop is part of the Hudson Library & Historical’s MBA-Lite mini-series of more advanced programs for the small business community.


Gerald P. Weinstein is KPMG Professor of Accountancy in the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University. Weinstein received his Ph.D. in accountancy from Kent State University and his M. Acc. and a B.S.B.A. from Bowling Green State University. He is a CPA, licensed in Ohio since 1977, and presently manages a small professional practice. Weinstein is also involved in various community service activities, including free preparation of income tax returns for low income and non-English speaking taxpayers through the IRS VITA program, and has served on the boards of several nonprofit agencies. In 2009 he was named Ohio’s Outstanding Accounting Educator.
